It became apparent to me a long time ago that beauty was most normally defined as the explosion of emotion. Irregularity and lack of form equal artistic and beautiful. The regularity and precision seen in mathematics is not art because for it to be so would restrict the artist. Therefore, in modern (or probably post-modern) conception, that which is mathematically determined and exactingly precise cannot be beautiful. These projects exist to attempt to show that this is not the case. Math can be beautiful. Precision can be creative. Form and regularity can display aspects of beauty that informal and irregular cannot.
